Spiritual Healing

Come in and browse through the authoritative textbook on spiritual healing, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, the Founder of the Christian Science church. Mrs. Eddy's pioneer work in discovering the Science of Christianity is shared with the world in this, her masterwork. Science and Health gives practical solutions to your problems, and teaches you how to apply the truth about your relationship to God for healing, health and happiness.

The Reading Room also carries supporting materials on healing. A recent offering, Healing Spiritually, chronicles the last thirty years of healing as published in the Christian Science Sentinel  (a weekly magazine) and The Christian Science Journal (a monthly). Accounts by people around the globe include healings of cancer, infertility, depression, drug abuse and unemployment.

Inspirational pamphlets and tape recordings offer additional accounts of healing in every area of life, including loneliness, grief, fear, aging, suicide. You can find the answers to these and any other problem in the Reading Room.

The Christian Science Monitor, the Pulitzer-prize winning international daily newspaper, is also available at the Reading Room. This paper is the ideal thought provoking gift for those who care about our world. Non-denominational in content (except for one article about Christian Science each day), the Monitor  gives unbiased and widespread coverage of worldwide events and trends.
